The PINK PUSSY HATS are marching!

The above is a scene on a South West airplane in America. Numerous airplanes over the last few days have been full of women (and men) like this one above. Today hundreds of thousands of people will be coming together to join the Women's March in DC but also across the USA and around the world. By gathering in huge numbers they are sending a powerful message about not only women's rights, but LGBT rights, migrant rights and equality for all, celebrating diversity. Thousands will be wearing the Pink Pussy hats which have become a unifying symbol of this march. Just like marches before them, this march will take its place among historic marches that led to movements - including the 1963 civil rights demonstrations and the Vietnam War protests of 1967.

Many women and men are marching for the future of their children and for future generations. This is an open letter from one of our fantastic WooHoo supporters, mom Becky Rolnick, to her two boys as she explains why she's marching today in Washington DC...

"Today I am marching for you...Today I march in solidarity with women, Muslims, Jews, transgender people, gay people, immigrants, non-white people, non-rich people ... I march in solidarity with humanity. With kindness. With civility. With compassion. Today I march simply because ... it is important to be on the side of justice, tolerance, equality. I march for you because I want a better future for you, but also because I want you to know that there is power in your voice. And using that voice to better your world is among the highest values there is."
